After establishing a strong foothold in the Middle East with its inaugural trade show and conference in 2022, UTECH has become a key annual business platform for the regional polyurethane and foam industry. Hosted in Dubai, the event has consistently brought together stakeholders from across the Middle East, Africa, India, and Southeast Asia, becoming the go-to platform for trade, innovation, and dialogue in the sector.
In 2026, UTECH takes a bold step forward with the launch of the UTECH Middle East Foam & Polyurethane (MEFPU) Conference in Saudi Arabia. This special edition will spotlight three core segments driving demand in the Kingdom—Flexible PU Foam, Rigid PU Foam, and Insulation.
Saudi Arabia is undergoing rapid transformation under Vision 2030, shifting its economic foundations beyond oil. The Kingdom has been consistently investing in manufacturing, logistics, tourism, and technology, with the non-oil economy already contributing 52% to the GDP. Major developments like NEOM and the Red Sea Project are driving demand across multiple industries.
PU foam and insulation are key materials in this growth story. Saudi Arabia’s PU foam market, valued at $884.4 million in 2023, is projected to grow to $1.46 billion by 2030 (CAGR 7.5%). Similarly, the insulation materials market, heavily reliant on PU foam, is expected to grow from $664.2 million in 2024 to $1.11 billion by 2033.
Theme: Driving Sustainable Innovation in PU, Foam, Adhesives, & Insulation for Smarter Economies in the Middle East & Africa
As MEA drives toward smarter, greener growth, the demand for high-performance PU solutions is soaring. This year’s theme highlights AI, automation, and sustainability powering next-gen industries, aligned with goals like UAE Net Zero 2050.
